For most people, this isn't an issue that ever enters their awareness, so I'd wager that most people in Georgia have no idea about this - maybe even a majority of those who own homes. They may know that there's an attorney involved, but I'd bet the majority just believe that's the way it's done everywhere and don't give it a second thought.
For the masses of people in this country, I think it's more likely that they don't realize that a notary can conduct a loan signing or closing... |
