For those of you who are on Twitter
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 3/27/17 5:07pm Msg #69948
There is a twitter account called @Trump_Regrets. It has been fairly busy lately - it consists primarily of retweets of people posting to Trump's own Twitter accounts (both the official POTUS account and his personal one) which basically say the same thing for different reasons - I supported you and voted for you, and now I'm sorry I did.

It's impossible to know for sure that all of these folks really did vote for him, but there are quite a few of them, especially since the AHCA debacle. His approval rating is now lower than Bush's was during Katrina and the months after it, which suggests that there are a number of people with "buyer's remorse" - and he's less than 70 days into his term.

If he thought health care was complicated ("Who knew?", he said; it seems everyone but him), wait until he tries to tackle tax reform. Looming on the horizon - the budget has to be approved by the end of April, and then there's that nasty business regarding a raise in the debt limit...
