Not sure about what good things he has accomplished. The biggest thing he accomplished was getting that tax cut, which wasn't such a good thing for most of us because it was based on the theory of trickle-down economics, which two previous GOP presidents learned doesn't work. The third time wasn't the charm - the "trickle down" simply doesn't happen. So instead of reducing the debt as he promised he would do, his policies have increased it. You don't have to be a Wharton graduate to understand that you can't cut revenue without cutting expenses and at the same time not increase your debt.
And then there was the time when he spiked the ball on the 50-yard line and held a party at the White House after the House voted to kill the ACA - and then the Senate voted not to. Oops.
Do you remember "Infrastructure Week", when vague plans were announced to make repairs to our nation's crumbling infrastructure - roads, bridges, railroads, etc? Have you heard anything about that since then? I haven't.
The "historic" meeting with Kim Jung Un, a brutal dictator from a regime that previous presidents have refused to recognize? Trump got played big time. Kim got what he wanted - recognition by the major world power and a promise that the US would discontinue war games with South Korea - and Trump walked away with nothing. In Senate testimony today, the heads of our national intelligence agencies said that there is no evidence North Korea is planning to denuclearize. Art of the Deal, baby, Art of the Deal...
Other than that, what has he accomplished other than alienate our allies and roll back regulations that were meant to protect consumers and the environment, simply because big business didn't like them? As you said, anything good that has happened during his tenure so far was either already happening and he got credit for it or it happened in spite of him. A year ago, he was claiming credit for a 9-year bull market; I don't see him claiming responsibility for the bear market we're now entering, do you?
