Welcome Karen! Its a tough business to do full time, especially starting out. If you can locally market yourself, that is good. It seems some areas are more prone to "direct work" than others, so that is an option to go to local title companies and sell yourself. There are also other platforms to register with for free, so try and get yourself out in as many places as you can. On here, register with all the 3.5+ companies listed in Signing Central. Eventually they will call or text, especially the EOM. The most important thing to look for is if a company pays you on time, and you will have to read the reviews not just look at stars in Signing Central. They can offer you whatever, but if that check never comes, you will be losing money. Try and not work for less than what it takes to make a decent profit. Remember we have to print 2 x and all the costs involved. Most know to offer $100.00 for a loan package. Good luck to you! |
