way of LindaH: TMI; yu know those LO's: "why'd you offer?". One at Georgetown U., the signer (Statistics professor), noticed irregularities in the DC tax rate. After peppering me w/ q's I couldn't answer, I had to refer him to the LO/TC. He couldn't get a signal, so I dialed from my phone - he couldn't call from office phone for some reason. Don't you know the LO/TC called the S & said that I embarrassed them by puttng them on speaker!!! BO ased all the q's - I don't know the VA (where I live) tax code, much less the DC code or the nature of his concern/question?!?!? I never even said "hello" - it was ALL him She was sputtering, so of course: TTNUTB! Darned if you do; darned if you don't! SMH
