 Actually the gov. did care & contacted notaries

At least 10 years ago, probably longer, XYZ promoted a 'suggested fee list' that was on the low side of what most of us were quoting/receiving that got the Dept of Justice's attention. They contacted a few notaries and asked a lot of questions and that 'suggested fee list' disappeared from XYZ's site. There are a few threads here about it.
