The only true ones are the mortgage and note they really care about and get recorded as with deeds of any kind...the rest if they make a mistake I have swapped out and nothing was ever said, and usually title docs. Here the mortgage and note most of the time on letter-size anyway. Seller packages are more inclined to have the Warranty Deed on legal, and that I most of the time print twice from dual try as less than 20 pages here. If you are careful and stress and pay attention, mistakes are rare...they do happen, but so far nothing has been rejected. We always have that line through and initial option worst case. Weighing out full package legal vs letter for the borrower is not worth it, I take my chances.
