I was around in the pre-business casual days. Suit (3 piece preferred, dress shirt and tie) Business casual to me means - Slacks (khaki's, Dockers, etc) NO JEANS, NO shorts, Collared Shirt, nice shoes (NO SNEAKERS). Look like your are going to play golf at an expensive country club that has a dress code.
That being said, I had a customer in Phoenix, the first time I showed up wearing a tie, they told me, next time, we are taking scissor to that tie. Form then on, no tie in AZ.
When in Rome..... Wear a toga. |
