Too many of these companies want you to say you are representing them &/or are a paralegal.
The LAST one I did--many years ago & have refused ever since--was nearby & a good fee, BUT when I got there and the man looked at the docs, he went ballistic as THIS was not what he was expecting. I'll fault both the signer and the co. on this one as 1) signer thought he was just going to sign some papers and, voila, his debt would be reduced when, in fact, he had no need or desire to screw up his credit for years as he had no problem meeting his obligations and 2) company obviously wasn't upfront about what Debt Relief really meant.
