So true, and some of those companies are using that platform and made the move over. Fortunately, I have only one who passes down their cost, however, is an excellent company, pays on time so I compromise. I do not think anyone depends on SD to rock n roll anyone's career, but take closings from any reputable company, and not judge them based on their platform. I am linked to many platforms, this is just one in the bunch and always check in SC on the company regardless of where they hang their hat. The more you are visible on platforms, especially free listings, the better chance you have at getting assignments. Just do your due diligence, counter or say no and block them.
