I've purchased 5 or 6 HP 2340s on eBay over the years, usually for $100 - $150 and some with the 2nd tray. Most sellers list the page count and I go with the one with the least use. Never had an issue. You can find out the page count by running the printer's diagnostics. Ask the seller the page count before purchasing.
