Okay, this is easy... the client contracts a signing service to notarize a POA. The signing service subcontracts the work to a notary. The client pays the contractor (signing service) for services rendered and the signing services pay the subcontractor (notary). The notary botches the job. The contractor must assume full responsibility for the error (s) of the subcontractor.
