few years ago. The software calculates for each form used. Even then, it was at least that amt. for a Schedule C & more for corporations.
I use Turbo Tax (Home & Business Edition). I've always done my own taxes & use the forms instead of the question method. I finished & filed mine a few days ago.
Unless you have an extremely complicated return (sale of stocks, etc.) you might consider one of the softwares out there. They all walk you through by asking questions.
There are very few places, if any, that will do a free return (AARP volunteers, etc.) if you have a Schedule C for business.
Good luck--you have plenty of time--2 months until tax deadline. LOL
