to be certain that the person is who they say they are. We're accustomed to requiring a picture ID, but IMO the law doesn't say that. I also do work at hospitals & nursing homes. The family member can usually come up with the ID. I've had to make some exceptions though. Again, the likelihood of someone committing fraud in a nursing home is unlikely. |
