Playing devil's advocate here.
Did patient sign document prior to going into induced coma and there were witnesses to that? If so, this may be a very viable case for subscribing witnesses. Or, maybe the witnesses are willing to write out a statement saying they witnessed patient knowingly signing and of own volition prior to induced coma.
Other than that, can't really fathom notarizing under other circumstances. But, as OP states, unfortunately " ... surely he will find someone willing to accommodate his request." |
