be complete (at least in FL).

I have been called by sellers for a few of these. I will not notarize unless the grantee information is filled in.

Apparently the relo companies contract with sellers (or the sellers' employer) for one of two types of transactions:

One Deed

Two Deeds

In a one deed transaction, the relo company does not take title to the property. That is why they do not fill in the grantee information. They hold the signed/notarized deed (if they can find a notary who will notarize an incomplete document) until an actual buyer is found and then fill in the buyer information and send the deed to be recorded. This saves the relo company the recording costs as only one transaction is recorded.
