You say you contacted your E&O insurance. Have you carried E&O with same carrier all along? If not, I would think coverage/carrier you had at time of signing would be carrier at issue.

As for x-wife’s involvement now, I would assume with x-husband’s Alzheimer’s, the family is probably attempting to sell the house for his care, and that is when the alleged fake ID came into the picture — of course, this is all speculation.

I’m confused that x-wife is in her late 80’s, but if she signed in 2010, she’d be in her 60’s. If x-husband is also in his 80’s today, I guess I would have been suspicious with the age difference 9 years ago and probably would have caused red flags — but that’s just me.
