 Re: Laser printer in vehicle

I tried with a low end laser and several different power inverters but never could get it to work. Evidently laser printers pull ALOT of current during startup and to get an inverter to handle it was pretty expensive. There may also be a requirement foe a sine wave inverter which has something to do with how clean the power generated is. Anyway, I never could get it to work so now I just carry a 100 ft extension cord in the truck and plug into an outlet at the borrower house. It’s saved me several trips back to the house to print when docs are running late.
