Welcome Roxann. You've entered into a business that is on the down swing. The mortgage refinance business has been slow since the middle of 2013.
Go to the orange search button on the first page of this forum. Type in message number 33325 and then start reading. This group of messages were started in 2005, so some of the information is dated or not valid any longer, however, you'll learn so much more then any class you took to become a Notary Public, especially if you took a class to become a loan signing agent.
And, if a certain organization that claims to be the Be All and End All for Notaries Public sold you a bill of goods on how much money you'd make as a loan signing agent - well - it's not happening any more, if it ever did. Keep reading the forum everyday and you'll see that business is down and the fees offered are down. We're not making the BIG MONEY any longer. 
This is the best web site, as far as I'm concerned, to advertise your services, so start here with your marketing. You're now a business owner and you are the only one who can market and promote your business. Use the orange search button to look up subjects you are interested in or have a question about. If you don't find the answer, then come on the forum and ask. That's how all this great info came about. |
