Re: New certified Signing Agent in Metro Detroit

NNA didn't lead you down that golden path of opportunities? Welcome to the real world. Starting out maybe a few closings a month with full availability, and then fight to get paid because many companies won't, and working probably for <$85.00 closings. I wish you the best, but our profession has been struggling to maintain decent offers for signings, the newbies with no experience will get the bottom of the barrel and scraps that no one takes. Please check with Signing Central on here of who to accept closings from and who not to. Click on the comments and read...many in the beginning will not pay or have any intentions of. They call newbies because the experienced people know the game and who they are.

Now on the positive note, just read on here, get a thick skin, be confident, market to all your local lenders and title companies and 3+ star companies listed here. You can make it, but chances are you will need your day job as well. You will need to invest in quality equipment and start up costs. Nobody can or will mentor you as is illegal to take you on a closing and hear and read personal confidential information, so you are pretty much sink or swim on your own...we all started the same way, so it can be done. Hang in there.
I live in FL and look at it similar to this: I think us all as sea turtle hatchling's...we start out buried in the sand the same way, we hatch at night...some of us travel to the light of the moon in the ocean and beat all predators, grow and build up strong and survive , but some go the wrong way and head to the street light and get eaten by predators and do not have a clue of what's happening. Be that hatchling that hits the surf, finds their little safe floating oasis, learns, grows, and never looks back!
Good luck!
