Remains to be seen if I'm compensated fairly. The scheduler balked at $150 for RM signing, I agreed to $125. My fee for incomplete signing, trip and print fee, well, that's another story.
I totally understand these signing services taking most of the fee, and when things go awry, their entire fee is earned by the notary who shows up twice to get it done.
The fees the borrower pays for these RMs is horrendous. The notary fee is paltry compared to all the other fees. |
