Printer issues. square pegs, round holes...and a lot of bs

My HP P3015 is compatible with W10. But, there's only 1 DotsPerInch available. Actually, there are no choices shown...it just prints really super dark. So dense that I'm fairly sure it's 1200 dpi...or 4 times the toner usage that I've used for 25 years at 300 dpi...no complaints ever... I even do B's copy @ 300 dpi/economode (and you can barely tell the difference and it's quite dark enough). Called HP and was told 'it is what it is'. Did some googling and downloaded HP Universal Print Driver from April, 2015...and am printing at 300 dpi again. Smile
