Agree Yoli...I made this same mistake my "1st" year as a rookie. Title called and asked me to get something signed after a closing, and never got paid for going back out, and they bypassed the SS and called direct. I didn't know any better or think twice about it. I ate the trip, BUT was my fault looking back not doing it the right way ALWAYS getting a confirmation and going through the hiring party . Newbie lesson 101.
You have to know that the closing was done and signed and any additional money is coming out of someone else's pocket. The 2nd trip has to be in an email confirmation or you do it as a professional courtesy. Anything less you just ate the fee.
Hopefully you can call him and remind him you saved this closing, and he owes you a 2nd trip, but unlikely you will see it. I hope he paid you for the initial closing.
