Re: Rudimentary question...how do you all track passwords?
Posted by NVLSlady/VA on 12/14/17 10:41am

I believe syncing my devices caused a security breach. Just received a critical security alert (google) that a sign in attempt was blocked. I checked the alert and it was a user in Las Vegas via Firefox - which I do not use as my browser. That someone had my PW. Of course, I changed.

Normally I let Google save the passwords on non-financial accounts that are rarely used.

I also use the index card method but then don't always remember to update the ones I change!

It's really hard when some sites require ALL elements: small, cap, numbers, length AND symbol! Even singing a "song" won't help much when you can't remember WHICH letters were the capitalized ones . . . and was that %123, my dob, my shoe size, etc.?? Frown
