I would have thought that a jurat would be more appropriate in this type of situation. The notary you signed in front of couldn't have specified, but I think, as the signer, I would have done a jurat, unless requested to do otherwise. (Disclaimer: I have no experience working in a title office, etc., so this is strictly my opinion as a notary.) |
