Late last year I also took on one of these...small package quick in and out the door and reasonable fee. Excuse after excuse on payments. First the check is apparently lost, then I got it back and remailed it..waited another week and no show. Called and emailed with no response then in frustration after 60 or 70 days I contacted the title company and only asked one question WAS HE PAID...I was told YES and with a groan the gentleman said he would have to call JOHN again about his paying the notaries (notice PLURAL). Guess I was not the only one. FINALLY after one more email to John, I got a response saying he was mailing another check...I told him I have another option for you pay me by credit card via Square and this will be the end of it and he declined to even answer HOWEVER a check arrived in the mail 2 days later and I quickly deposited via my phone...it cleared. He is NOW on my I don't want to work for him list. |
