centurion/TX, I guess CE means continuing education? The best continuing education I've found is reading this forum. But there's no icon to display in a profile for that. There isn't much true continuing education around, where the basic are assumed and you learn new things. What little there is tends to be online education by a few title companies when some new regulation comes out. This happened when the HUD statement and Truth in Lending statement were replaced by the Closing Disclosure several years ago.

The problem with title-company-provided CE it only counts for that company, and another company might want you to take THEIR version of the training.

It would be great for me if some genuine CE came along that offers certificates I could upload to my state notary regulator (Vermont Secretary of State/Office of Professional Regulation). Vermont hasn't written the rules yet, but for all the other professions they regulate, they don't make professionals retake the same old ____ every 2 years; the professionals get to take courses that, in the professional's judgement, will improve the professional's ability.
