I also heartily agree with Linda re VT. If there was ever a maxim for 99.99% of notaries, it's that we notarize signatures, not documents. Take that to the needlepoint store and make a pillow out of it. And if there ever was a post it applied to more, the OP was it. We all know we can certify this and that. Most notaries will go their entire notary lives without certifying anything. Why even bring it up? It's complete irrelevant to the subject at hand. Just cos it's "true" doesn't make it relevant or necessary to point out.
