 Speaking of faxbacks ....
Posted by BearPaw/CO on 8/5/18 1:31pm

Just to let ya'll know, I bought an HP scanner on Amazon Prime for the low $200s. I only wanted a flatbed scanner (my 15-year-old Epson finally gave out) for personal use (books/photos/magazines/recipes/etc) but this one also came with a sheet feeder. (I didn't even know they made such a thing. Duh, me). I know all you big shot NSAs have those uber sheet feeders for your faxbacks, but for those of you like me who could never justify the expense compared to the few scanbacks I'm requested to do, that wasn't an option. So, when I happened upon this HP scanner with sheet feeder, I went for it. Barely had it installed when I actually did a 40-page seller pkg scanback. It went through lickety split. The pages automatically bundled into one attachment, which I emailed to whoever, and they were perfectly happy. (Manual sez it holds 50 pages at once.) So for those of you interested, it's: HP Scanjet Pro 2500 f12 flatbed scanner. Xerox also makes one a little more expensive. Plus HP makes a similar model with more bells and whistles (like for artists/architects, etc who need professional grade scans). And, of course, all these models are A LOT more expensive on Staples, etc than Amazon Prime.
