The CA SOS does require a home address on the application, but it's the mailing address that is public. I just looked up my own commission on the CA SOS site - my mailing address, which is my P.O. Box shows up, not my home address. If the CA notary puts their home address as their mailing address on the application, then their home address will show up.
I don't know that the notary's home address (from the application) will be given if they call the SOS directly...hope not but don't know. |
