this press release. There have been countless press releases about remote closings and about how "thrilled" the borrowers were with the efficiency of the process.
I think that everyone needs to consider the source and motivation of the issuer of the press release. As I have written before, I would be a millionaire if I had a nickel for every press release written on this subject. So far I don't see an avalanche of loans closed using remote closings. I am not saying it won't happen.
Have there been thousands of closings using remote closings? Have there been tens of thousands of remote closings? Or is it under 1,000 closings? But so far I just ain't feeling the luv for this. |
