After filing a complaint with the CA DBO, I was notified that my, "...complaint is concerning an entity or activity that does not fall under the purview of this department...". My complaint was forwarded to:
Office of the Attorney General, Public Inquiry Unit, P.O. Box 944255, Sacramento, CA 94244-2550. I gather that if the company were directly involved with mortgages, financial transactions, etc., that the DBO would have purview.
