listing one entry as "loan docs" & noted how many notarizations were involved. I still view the Notary Journal as being a carry-over from long ago, when the Journal served as a ledger for the Notary. VA doesn't require us to keep one, even though it's always a good idea. I've never had a request to provide it, and have never been called into court.
