I have a 3 foot trench going down the middle of our easement road for 1/4 of a mile, and a neighbor was out yesterday filling it with riprap and spreading gravel and topsoil to smooth it out. So happy to have great talent like this around here, as in the country we're kind of on our own. Caltrans and Public Works are running around plugging up holes and mud clearing everywhere.
We're just not accustomed to being inconvenienced by extreme weather conditions. It's only snowed twice here in 12 years, but we welcome the experience. Just gotta have time to enjoy it and not be endangered by having to get out in it.
