On the other hand, the borrower always signs on the left where it says "Borrower's signature" and the co-borrower on the other side where it says "Co-Borrower's signature," according to every 1003 that I recall seeing. No name lines necessary. Sometimes you gotta look at the app to see who's who. So I can see where they wouldn't want the co-borrower signing where it says "Borrower's signature" and vice verse. Was yours a standard 1003 or something different?

I recall a post here where they sent the notary back out for a redo cos the signers dated at the top of the 1003 by their signatures.
