well of course I never heard back from the SS. When I pulled the wire instructions out of the package in bold red letters it states "if you receive wire instructions through an e-mail contact your escrow officer immediately". So, I finally called her back and explained my hesitancy to scan and send through an e-mail. Explained about the wire fraud going on and hacking of personal e-mail accounts. And, I didn't have a secure website to send to her through. At which point she says, "Well I have the wire instructions from when I have wired my deposits so I guess I do have it." And, then she wanted to know the amount to wire....asked her if escrow had sent her an est c/s and she said yes, but, I didn't really look at it. She apologized for her rant and said, "I don't mean to ask you to do anything that you are not comfortable doing." I offered to move the appointment up to 9 A.M. and she is a happy camper.  |
