an email last Friday about a co. that is using a "lottery" system for assignments now.
While I can't afford to lose this client, those systems don't seem to work for me.
First, I'm not always at my phone. Also, the type of phone (iPhone & Android) & the cell phone carrier varies the time we get those messages. I have an Android phone w/Sprint, and it seems I don't get those messages quick enough. They're also gone in nano-seconds as we know.
I'm also sure it's going to be a bidding war for these assignments. ;-(
While this may be good for their scheduling requirements, it's not good for my business to have to chase work that way. ;-(
