be prepared to be able to gather closing figures, request payoff statements from existing lenders, compile all figures and PREPARE the purchaser's Closing Disclosure and prepare or review the seller's Closing Disclosure. There is a learning curve, so if an NSA is not familiar with the "how to" s/he will need a willing attorney or senior paralegal to train him/her.
If you really want to enter this field, I recommend at least an ABA-approved paralegal class in residential real estate for your resume (either taking or passed). |
