Here're my questions

I'm assuming this seminar is for lenders and/or TCs, neither of whom have historically given a hoot whether we get paid or not. Wonder if they'll give you the old song 'n' dance about "we paid the SS, your beef is with them" or just have security escort you out the door.

However, if the panel actually pays attention to you, my questions would be along the line of: Are the new regulations as tough on SS owners and their employees as they are on NSAs? (Yearly background checks, as well as the sharing of our NPPI from Fidelity to lenders). Do SSs now have to be "registered"? Has the CFPB even heard of SSs? Amanda K would never have been able to start a business under her name if required BKGs had been in place for SSs. And who's responsible for vetting SSs? Are SSs even on the CFPB radar? Has the CFPB even heard of SSs? But most of all, are lenders ultimately being held responsible for disbursement of funds to "third-party vendors," which I understand NSAs now are?

I can't imagine there is any new oversight re a SS's solvency. I can barely imagine there's any oversight re SSs, but then I haven't read much of the new rules beyond who qualifies for a loan and all that. So what I want to know is what protections vendors like us have, if any, under the new rules? Will it change the way we can go after deadbeat SSs?
