I have not read this yet. Could the signing of the documents be the three days before closing? In my opinion, it would mean the same as the Three day right to cancel (which is also at least three days before closing)? We need to remember that different companies state that our signing the documents are not the closing date, it is the date of signing.
As others have stated, the lenders will probably just add a "waiver of the three days" to be signed as in the appraisal requirement. I can't believe that the Dept of Finance (or whichever department heads it us) hasn't jumped all over that one. That law was put in effect for a reason. |
