I've only had one company issue payment that way (twice). Usually, I make my deposits at ATM. That particular time, I walked it into the bank - had the emailed instructions with me just in case. Teller hadn't seen one before so she conferred with her manager. Manager told her it was fine so long as their reader/scanner accepted it (able to read all digits and symbols at bottom of check). Went through just fine. Next time, I went through ATM. No problem at all. |
