ok not in CO, what do you mean "the appraial market is hot?"

appraisal fees have been on the rise every since the meltdown and requirement of third party vendors and prohibition of lenders ordering directly from appraiser. However, don't think that means appraisers are making more, they are not and they are not happy!
Just like us, a big portion of the fee now goes to third party vendor. Many appraisers here have taken early retirement because of the changes.
Now we get appraisers that are less skilled and they make mucho mistakes....but I digress....
