My laptop came with Win 8 point something or other but with bold mention that Win 10 would be available soon and that the laptop was designed for Win 10. I hated Win 8, so I took the free upgrade to Win 10 for a test drive and was much happier, but then I had to roll back to Win 8 after I realized my old Brother HL-5370DWT wouldn't choose the correct paper size when printing and at the time Brother didn't have a driver update to make it compatible with Win 10. I finally saw a couple of months ago that Brother now has a driver that works with Win 10 and upgraded again. Took some time on the phone with Brother to get everything working, but I really like it over the Win 8.
I miss Win 7 though, and have heard from many people that have Win 7 that they will just hang on until things no longer work right and then buy a new computer with 10 already installed on it. |
