Happened to me when daughter trying to engineer RM on mom's
Posted by Cheryl Elliott of CA on 7/29/16 8:06am Msg #557046
house. Mom had had a stroke and no short term memory. She couldn't sign her name twice the same way throughout the package.

The daughter said I was harassing her mother about her signatures and dates, when really, I was trying to assist her on where to sign and date. We got through the entire 200pp package, I got up and left, called the hiring party, told them it was not a successful signing and the daughter was hovering. When the package was received by title and reviewed for "quality issues", title called the daughter and told her these signatures are no way acceptable. the daughter threatened to sue title and me...she couldn't of course, because she was not named in the transaction.

Shame on this LO and daughter trying to railroad mom into this RM transaction. Mom had to have 24/7 care. I didn't accept RM assignments for a long time, they are not my first choice of work, and now I will no longer accept RM applications, because if they don't come to fruition, NSAs are likely not to be paid.
