Sign Docs w/o CD???

Would you go to a signing without a CD in the package? EOM and docs were very late. Signing Service requests that I proceed to the closing w/o final CD. States that the final CD will be sent directly to the BO during the RTC period. I did not do so. I have read that revised CD's can be sent to closing - to go to closing without a CD and tell the BO's that the final will be sent to them?
Thoughts on this?
