| Hello all! I have been a Notary for about 7 years. When I first received my commission, I regularly got 2-3 assignments per day and decent fees. As time has progressed this rate has gone down (as the financial markets changed). Then came the advent of Snap Docs and other services. Now, I get offers each week, but they are from Snap docs...and it seems that you either stick to your phone and immediately take what is offered (without checking distance to assignment) or loose to work. Additionally, many offers I receive are for ridiculous amounts ($50)....does anyone else see this change? I am frankly thinking of letting my commission lapse at next renewal, it is just not financially viable (or fun) any more. |
