I received one of these this morning but the new one I was hit with twice within a week - an email comes in from someone you know with their actual email address. One said - I need to ask a huge favor, can you please take a look at these documents for me and advise me? And then a 2nd email follows in with links to these docs. The other email said he needed to see me asap and could he come for a visit. He had lost my address and phone # so if I could send it, he'd sure appreciate it. Neither of these was real.
It gets weirder all the time and we sure need to be vigilant. |
