Interesting info. Thanks, John and jba. Clearly, they have already invested some serious capital in putting this all together, which I think raises some additional questions.
One more important thing to note... their document package also includes a waiver and release form similar to what FNT put out, but they didn't delete customers from those to whom they want the right to disclose our full BGC report. I've been across the table from a number of people over the years whom I wouldn't want to have my address, let alone my DL and social security numbers! (That's all there is in my BGC report.) Why in the world should they have access to that information about us? Do THEY have to submit to a BGC to take out a loan?
This company may turn out to be legit, but I still recommend proceeding with caution - especially on this issue. |
