When it comes to fingerprinting do you...
Posted by Skyhye/CA of CA on 10/31/14 9:46am Msg #518385
Do you hold the person's right thumb and roll it onto the pad and then assist them in rolling it onto the journal?

The reason I ask is because I have always let them do this themselves, unless they actually needed assistance. But I recently found out that a true fingerprint has to be rolled in order for it to be a "true" fingerprint. Well I found out some people have a hard time with this and then it turns out to be a messy thumbprint, so then I have to have them repeat it again, with my assistance.

I was wondering how other people handle fingerprinting process?

Thank you kindly.
