Yes, this actually happened to me. Private attorney called, offered a decent rate for a rush signing, got docs to me quickly. Twenty minutes after I reported the signing was cancelled, why hadn't I listened to my voicemail, etc., and demanding immediate return of the docs. I had their label, so I dropped the docs. Minus any notorized pages.

Goid luck filing those!
